Easy to Prepare Meal

I like to pack my lunch at home and bring out to eat either I’m going out for business or I’m taking my children out for leisure.

Some food can be prepared and store in container for future use. Examples are fried anchovies, peanut, sambal and salted fish. Many fresh vegetable and fruit can be used to make your meal more attractive and not too dry. Examples are carrot, cucumber, pineapple and sengkuang. The best part is it does not need to be cooked.

Whenever I’m rushing to go out and food preparation time is limited, I just take the leftover rice, put a bit of peanut, anchovies and sambal, cut some ready to eat fresh vegetable (eg sengkuang or cucumber), garnish it with some sesame, and here I get my own version of nasi lemak or I would like to give it the name of “Mixed Match Rice”

Today I would like to share one of the Mixed Match Rice that I took out to eat with my son:

Seaweed Pineapple Ham Rice

Ingredient:
• Rice
• Pineapple (cut into small cubes pieces)
• Ready-to-eat Seaweed (cut into small pieces or crush it)
• Pre-fried Ham (cut into small cubes pieces)
• Sesame
• Hard-boiled Egg (in any shape of your preference)

Note: I didn’t specify the weight or amount of the ingredient above as you may use as much or as little as possible. It is all depend on your taste bud and your preference for certain food than others

Method:
Mix the above ingredient together. It is nice to garnish it with a bit of parsley and raisin.

Simple isn’t it?

My two years old son simply loves it.

I even prepare some watermelon so that we can enjoy 2-course meal. I also bought along a box of soya bean milk so that it looks like a complete meal that we order at the restaurant.
