Putrajaya Healthcare Centre
My son was down with high fever for two days. On the morning of 31 July 2009, his temperature was 39°C. My husband and I decide to take him to Putrajaya Hospital. It was 6.30 am and normal clinic was not open yet so we went to emergency department. As there is no other emergency case at that time, the doctor immediately attends to our son. He took my son body temperature and gave him “ubat buntut”. Then he advised us to seek further treatment at the Klinik Kesihatan Putrajaya at Presint 9.
We reached the clinic at 7.40 am. There were so many people waiting there already. We got no. 2080 and need to fill up the application form. We waited there till 9.04 am before they registered our son.
There are 8 counters at the lobby:
Counter 1 – 4: Registration
Counter 5 – 6: Triage
Counter 7: Special For Pregnant lady
Counter 8: Specially cater for
a) Senior Citizen
b) Special Need Child
c) Disable Person
d) Prisoner
e) Medical Check (those age 40 years old and above)
f) T.B., Chicken Pox and Eye Pain
Since there was no case at Counter 8, they use it to register my son’s details. A fee of RM1 was charged and we need to pay it at Counter 1. We were given a white card with barcode.
Then we have to wait at Triage counter and it took another 20 minutes before they called us. I do not know why we need to go to Triage counter as the officer there ask me what wrong, so I told her, my son got high fever and she straight away refer me to wait in front of Room 2.
We scan the white card and in a minute time, the doctor called us in the treatment room. We explained to her that our son got high fever and now already subsided after taking the “pill buntut”. She said she will give us some fever syrup and if my son is still having fever for other 2 days, we need to bring him back to the clinic for blood test. Total consultation time is less than 5 minutes.
I though that we do not need to wait to take medicine. But we waited another 15 minutes for that. We left the hospital around 10.30 am.
We were rushing to bring our son to the hospital early morning that I left my handphone and PDA with camera in my house. If not I would have enclose some photos over here.
