The Tiniest Frog Ever Found by My Family

Frankly speaking I do not know what is the name of the frog but so far this is the tiniest frog we ever found. We found this frog at Berembun Forest Reserve in Negeri Sembilan. It is found near the waterfall area. It is about 10mm long only.

Berembun Forest Reserve has many attractions. One trail will lead us to fruit paradise while other trail has leaded us to a beautiful waterfall when we found the abovementioned tiny frog. For those whose is more adventure, you may also trek deeper into the forest looking for the RAF Liberator KL654R plane which has crashed into this forest on 23 August 1945.

The Plassid Villa, a Peaceful Villa for Nature Lover

We love village life due to cleaner air and cooler weather. So when my friend, invited us to her villa in Kampung Baru Pantai, we immediately accepted her invitation.

We are coming from Puchong, so we use the LDP, exit the Puchong Selatan Toll and headed to Kajang Silk Highway. Then we turn to LEKAS highway. We had to pass by 5 tolls before we reached Jelebu. The journey took us about 1 hour drive.

Her villa has basic amenities but good enough to keep us comfortable. Most of the decoration in the villa is designed as close to the nature as possible. Tables and chairs are hand-made using trees collected from nearby forest.

We enjoy ourselves plucking pulasan and rambutan from her farm. We also managed to collect wild durians for breakfast. My husband also found beautiful Orange Pill Millipede inside the durian farm.

Fresh vegetable is being planted at the back of her villa and we can enjoy it right away. It is so fresh and chemical free.

As for the dinner we got to enjoy BBQ fish, chicken wings and lamb.

Other attraction of her area is the Berembun Forest Reserve where we do jungle trekking for

a)     fruits such as durian, langsat and rambutan, and also petai

b)      the beautiful waterfall inside the forest. 

We also found the tiniest frog ever seen before in our life.

We really enjoy our trip so much that we look forward to go again in the near future. This is ideally the best RAYA holiday I ever had in my life.

Here how to go to Plassid Villa:

After you paid RM1.90 at the Ampangan Toll, drive around 2km, you turn left when notice signboard “Jelebu”. Go straight all the way. When you see signboard “Sikamat”, do not turn left but go straight until you notice the signboard “Pantai”. When you reached the mosque on your left, turn right to Kg Baru Pantai. Go straight all the way until you notice signboard “The Shorea”. You will notice a small signboard “Plassid” on your left. Stop at the gate and called the owner to open the gate. The gate is locked all day long for security purposes.

If you are using WAZE, look for The Dusun Negeri Sembilan, it will direct you to the Dusun first gate which is closed also. Do not turn left into the gate but rather go straight till you found“The Shorea” signboard.
